Day 2 :

We head of Cao Bang in the vehicle for a 300 km journey and 7 hours drive always in the rain. Then we will reach the border region of China. On our journey, we will pass Thai Nguyen, which marks the end of the Vietnamese population in plains to enter Tho country. We will continue by a mountain road via Cao Lake Pass to enter border areas, with passing a stop in a small cafe in the middle of nowhere to enjoy the local tea green. The people are pleased to offer you their alcohol rice house. Brace yourself ! 

In this region, the relief is a natural fortress on the three support points: Cao Bang - That Khe - Lang Son. Getting to Cao Bang in the afternoon with the rain still, we spend the night at the hotel.
