La Malène
La Malene is located in Lozère in the Cevennes National Park.
La Malène is best known for its boatmen who will make you discover the magnificent defiles of the Tarn.
You will be able to discover the manor of La Malène which dates from the 15th and 16th centuries and is connected to the history of the lords of Montesquiou, the church of Saint John the Baptist of the twelfth century, property of the municipality and classified Historic Monuments since 18 August 1928, the ruins of Castel Merlet, the oldest known chateau in France.
