Ronda is perched on steep cliffs and offers unique views. Traversed through a canyon on each side called El Tajo and 100 meters deep, where you can go down on one side by a hiking trail and the other by steps dug into the cliff that descend until at the river.

At Southeast of Ronda is the Natural Park Sierra de las Nieves with its highest point in western Andalusia, the Torrecilla (1918m). In this park many walks can be realized. The park is home to many bouquetins and many species of eagles.
