Day 12 :

After breakfast on the Sampan, we return to the mainland and take the direction of the airport for a flight 1h20 'to Ho Chi Minh (formerly Saigon)..

Upon arrival, we visit some areas of the city. Started by the Reunification Palace, cathedral Notre Dame built by the French in 1877 and 1880, the central post office in the colonial architecture, the City Hall of Ho Chi Minh City which is a palace built by French architect Paul Gardès from 1902 to 1908, the opera, the Bitexco tower and 262 meters high.

Direction dock Hung Vuong in Ben Tre to take a boat then smal boat and enjoy a ride on the river. A thunderstorm will follow us throughout.

Fortunately, the sun returns. We recover bikes for a ride through the plantations up to our homestays. After discovery of our hosts, we go on bike ride until nightfall. then join hosts for a sumptuous dinner that they prepared.

Quiet night without mosquito, the house is completely surrounded by citronella plantations.
