Granada Cathedral is located in the historic center of the city. Its construction began in the 16th century and was completed in 1704. The cathedral is considered the first in the Renaissance style in Spain.Capilla Real :
This is the Royal Chapel adjacent to the Cathedral. It is part of the Catholic authority of Granada. Under the chapel crypt houses the monarchs lead coffins which are: 1st Isabelle of Castile, Queen of Castile and Leon, Queen of Aragon and Sicily (1451-1504); Ferdinand II of Aragon, king of Castile and Leon, King of Aragon and Sicily (1452 - 1516); Jeanne 1st of Castile, daughter of Ferdinand and Isabella, Queen of Castile and Leon, queen of Aragon, Naples and Sicily (1479-1555); Philippe 1st of Castile, husband of Jeanne, King of Castile and Leon (1478-1506).
Monasterio de San Jeronimo :
The monastery was built between the 15th and 16th century. This is a beautiful Catholic building. You can see inside her fully painted church.
