The city of Susa has long been considered the "gateway to Italy" by its strategic position between Savoy and Turin. On the one hand towards the Mont Cenis and the Maurienne valley and the other leading to Turin. The importance of the city in Roman leaves many ancient works now as the Arch of Augustus, the Porta Savoia, Saint Just cathedral, the church of the Madonna del Ponte, ... It has a park pleasant, typical alleys, shops and a market with sumptuous local produce.
A visit on market day, lunch at restaurant and walking tour of the city in the afternoon, to finish up a taste of the soft ice cream.
