Ochres of Roussillon
Ochres made famous village of Roussillon located in the department of Vaucluse in Provence. This village is classified among the most beautiful villages of France and enters the perimeter of the natural park of Luberon. The ocher have been exploited since the late eighteenth century until 1930. Today, the site is protected to avoid accelerating its degradation.
