Castle of Versailles
The Palace of Versailles is about 16 kilometers south-west of Paris.
It was the residence of the kings of France, Louis XIV, Louis XV and Louis XVI.
It covers over 63,000 sqm. Its park of 815 ha in 8000 ha were before the revolution. It has several elements like the Grand Trianon, the Petit Trianon with the Hamlet of the Queen or field of Marie Antoinette, the large and the small canal, an orangery and the water part of the Swiss.
